United Action for Children(UAC) , Cameroon

United Action for Children(UAC) was founded in 1996 and registered in 1998 under the Cameroon’s 1990 law on Associations (registration No. 557/G37/014/1/VO4/T/T/OAPP of 3rd August 1998) as a non-profit community based organization and member of Street football  world Network and Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children.

The overall goal of UAC is to contribute to the improvement of living conditions of key affected populations (Deprived People) such as orphans, street children, Internally displaced children as a result of the ongoing war and children born of war in the English speaking regions of Cameroon, youth and young girls drug users, teenagers, women, sex workers…as well as in rural and urban areas.

UAC intimately works with line departments, government agencies/organizations/departments and many other likeminded not for profit/voluntary institutions and well-wishers etc. UAC has now a strong network of local community based youth and women organizations it has formed and nurtured. UAC invites voluntary partnership in all its activities and projects.
